I am a qualified counsellor (PG-Dip) registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  My qualification, relevant training, BACP membership and Professional Indemnity Insurance certificate are available for inspection if you wish to have sight of them.

The room I use is comfortable and based in a central location in Paisley, Renfrewshire.  Alternatively I can offer telephone or Skype counselling.

I have extensive experience and significant training working therapeutically with children and can offer creative play sessions with this age group, depending on requirement.

For children under 12 years old I follow a person-centred play therapy model where children can utilise a variety of arts, crafts and therapeutic toys to help process difficult experiences and emotions.  This would be child-led, but I can work in a more focused way if counselling was to be short-term.

I also have some experience working with young people and many of the issues they may be experiencing such as

  • identity
  • self-harm
  • LGBT
  • anxiety
  • anger
  • bullying
  • relationships

Please note that telephone and Skype counselling is not available for under-sixteens and both child and parental consent is required for this age-group.
